We have extended our daycare and boarding hours to offer more convenience for you and your dogs. We also have new half day options and some new policies to help things run smoothly for all of our pets. Since we often have dogs that require a separate walk or a one-one-one play session, the pickup and drop off times help us to schedule walks and playtime to ensure that all of the dogs in our care get the exercise and attention that they need to be happy and content, while still being in the building for you when you need to pick up your dog.
TOURS: You are welcome to come to take a tour of our facility between 5-7 pm any evening. If those hours don't work, please call to schedule another time. We often leave to walk dogs or, if all of our dogs have been picked up, we will send our staff home early so dropping by may mean you'll miss us!
HOW OUR DAYCARE WORKS: Our daycare is a little different than other daycares. We have small play groups with our staff involved in play to help the dogs interact well. We get to know our dogs and they get to know our staff and each other. We require that dogs commit to one month of daycare at a time so that we really get to know our dogs and their personalities and needs. We find that this helps us match play styles and personalities to the best of our abilities so that we can ensure your dogs have a good experience while in our care. Of course, if you need to add a day here or there or make an occasional shift in your schedule, we remain more than happy to do so!
MISSED DAYS: If you miss a scheduled day of daycare, you will need to call or email and let us know that you would like a credit so that we can track your credits. If we are not fully booked on the day that you miss, we will gladly credit you the day! If; however, we were booked, that means that we reserved a space just for your dog and turned away other boarding and daycare clients. In that event, no credit will be issued. Thank you for your understanding.

Holiday reservations require a two night deposit. Please note that we are not open for drop off and pick up on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. A $5 holiday charge will be added for dogs boarding on these days.
Our boarding is set apart from other Austin dog boarding facilities in that our dog boarding prices include tummy rubs, playtime, stuffed kongs and chews, feeding of your dog food, treats, and administering of medications at no extra charge. The only time you'll be charged extra is if an unexpected event cause us to incur additional fees - a trip to the vet or an unexpected bath for a dog, for example, or if your dog demonstrates aggression towards our staff (if a dog snaps at or bites our staff, they are restricted to handling by a behavior consultant only for our staff's safety - in this event, because a behavior consultant must come in four times each day to properly care for your dog, you will be charged an additional $20 per night for special handling). We do offer grooming and can give you a list of the grooming options and pricing upon drop off for your dog.
AGE RESTRICTIONS: We do not place age restrictions on our boarding dogs, however, for dogs over 13 years of age, we ask that your veterinarian call us to clear your pet to board. Also, puppies under 16 weeks of age require an additional $5 per day due to the increased number of potty breaks and special supervision they will get while in our care. We also require a veterinary release to have puppies under 12 weeks of age board with us - please discuss the risks of boarding a young dog with your veterinarian! We will be happy to provide information on our sanitizing procedures to your veterinarian.
CANCELLATIONS: We must receive 24 hours notice for cancellations and 72 hours notice for holiday cancellations. Cancellations with less than the required notice will result in loss of the deposit.
ADD SOME TRAINING: Want to combine your travel plans with some training for your dog? Our new express board and train packages make this possible. For $10 more per night, you can choose one of the following behaviors for us to work on with your dog. For $20 more per night, you can choose 2 of the following behaviors for us to work on with your dog (minimum of one week's stay required): Leave It, Coming When Called, an Emergency Recall, Sit, or Down. For more information on our full behavior modification or complete basic manners board and train packages, click here or browse through our training according to the type of problem behavior you are experiencing!
VACCINATIONS, FLEAS, and TICKS: All dogs must be up-to-date on Bordatella, Distemper, Parvovirus, and Rabies vaccinations. Vaccinations must have been administered at least one week prior to coming to board with us. All dogs must be on a monthly flea and tick preventative. Dogs with fleas will be given Capstar and the owner will be charged a fee of $5.00. Please note that dogs in a daycare and boarding setting are susceptible to the transfer of communicable diseases, such as Giarhdea, Kennel Cough, or parasites. We do our absolute best to prevent this by using top quality disinfectnants on floors, toys, crates, and surfaces in the center, monitoring vaccinations, and separating any dogs exhibiting vomiting, coughing, diarrhea, or any other suspicious symptoms.
VETERINARIAN CARE: If your dog requires medical attention while in our care, we will make an attempt to use your veterinarian. If this is not possible, we will take your dog to one of the veterinarians that we work closely with or to an appropriate emergency veterinarian clinic. We will ALWAYS call you immediately upon arrival at the veterinarian's office. All veterinarian bills must be paid at time of pickup and we reserve the right to charge a $25 per hour charge for the trip to the veterinarian. For more details, please see our boarding registration form at the top of this page.
SPAY, NEUTER, and BREED INFO: Although we strongly support spaying and neutering of all pets, dogs do not need to be spayed or neutered to stay with us. We currently accept all breeds of dogs - our behavior evaluation is based on each individual dog and its behavior/temperament, not on the dog's breed!
AGGRESSIVE DOGS: ***NOTE - as of 9/1/2010, we are no longer taking dogs with aggression issues in our boarding prgram unless they are current training clients.
If a dog snaps at or bites our staff, they are restricted to handling by a behavior consultant only for our staff's safety - in this event, because a behavior consultant must come in four times each day to properly care for your dog, you will be charged an additional $20 per night for special handling.
NICKS and WEAR AND TEAR: Please note that light scratches and ocassional nicks are common when dogs are playing, particularly breeds that have a very thin coat of hair. These are the result of wresting and normal play. We clean any nicks with a safe first aid cleaning solution for your dog's comfort and we try to make a note of any nicks and point them out to you when you pick up your dog. Injuries that go beyond the normal wear and tear of playing are rare and we work very hard to make sure we avoid these at all costs. Our high level of supervision and staff interaction help ensure that play is safe and kept under control.
NIGHTTIME SUPERVISION: Our dogs are all tucked away into dog crates for their safety at night. We also have either a staff person on site at night or a monitored smoke alarm, burglar alarm, and webcams that allow us to provide for your dogs' safety and security at night.
