At Buddy's Chance, we offer dog daycare of a different kind! Your dog is not put into a pen with a dozen or more dogs and little supervision. Your dog will be matched with a small group of dogs hand picked for matching temperaments and play styles and then supervised by our trained staff. Our staff understand dog training, body language, and behavior. We ensure that dogs are not bullying or being bullied! We work to prevent dogs from developing problem behaviors, as they can when they are allowed to play, unchecked, for hours on end in a traditional daycare.
Our dogs enjoy playtime all morning long and then take a nap in their crates with a stuffed kong for a few hours so they don't get overwhelmed. They are out again to play for several more hours in the afternoon, getting them plenty of exercise and socialization without overexertion. This combination of playtime and napping or chewing on a stuffed kong gets your dog the right balance of exercise, socialization with other dogs, and enough down time to recuperate and prevent problem behaviors that can develop when dogs become overly tired and cranky during play.
We strictly limit the number of dogs we accept into our program so that we can ensure small play groups and proper care for all of our dogs. Drop off is between 7:00 and 10:00 am with pickup from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Dogs must pack their breakfast and dinner so that we can feed them kongs throughout the day! We often take dogs out for walks or we may send our staff home early
if we do not have overnight boarding dogs to care for so we need to know you're
coming so we can be sure we'll be there! We're looking forward to meeting you and
caring for your dog!
Please note that we do not accept drop-in daycare - dogs must commit
to one month at a time so that we can match play styles and temperaments on a
consistent basis. One or two days per week is $25 per day, three days per week
is $24 per day, four or five days per week is $23 per day. Half days are also available!
