Adopt a Puppy

ALL OF OUR PUPPIES HAVE FOUND HOMES! THANK YOU!

We currently have 7 labradoodle puppies available for adoption! There are
four boys and three girls. We know that the mom is at least a second
generation labradoodle but we aren't sure how many generations she is. She
has a wonderfully, sweet temperament! The father of the puppies is either
a standard poodle or a labradoodle. Both possible fathers had wonderful
temperaments as well.  Two of the puppies have slick coats and five have
curly coats. We can't know for sure if these will be hypo-allergenic or low-shedding dogs but they should be wonderfully sweet dogs!

Please read the following information carefully before completing your online application. All adopters will be required to provide references, complete an application, and undergo a home visit prior to adoption.

All puppies will receive handling, socialization, and early neurological stimulation exercises.  We will begin to encourage good housetraining and crate habits by feeding the puppies in crates and encouraging elimination on a grass surface or in litter boxes. They will socialize with appropriate, vaccinated dogs. The adoption fee for these puppies will be $200 and they will be available to go home at 8 weeks of age. They will have one round of vaccinations and be dewormed. In addition to the adoption fee, each adopter will be required to put down a training deposit of $50 and a spay/neuter deposit of $50. If the adopter provides evidence that the puppy was spayed or neutered before 6 months of age and that the puppy attended a group training class prior to 20 weeks of age, the adopter’s training and spay/neuter deposits will be returned. Please note that the training need not be done with Buddy’s Chance dog training.

The puppies will also be available with the following training option:

Trained puppies have the same socialization, handling, and early neurological stimulation exercises and will take field trips to places where they can undergo additional, safe socialization.  They will go home at 14 weeks of age and will be well on the way with housetraining and crate training (owners will need to continue a schedule of pottying and crating when not supervised but thorough instructions are provided). The puppies will learn to sit and wait at doors, sit on cue and sit on approach to people rather than jumping up, lay down on cue, go to a bed on cue, come when called, an emergency recall, and walk on leash. Owners will receive one private training session in person and two telephone question and answer sessions and will receive a homework packet that will help them to continue their puppy’s training at home. They will also receive a dog crate that will be large enough for the puppy to grow into (includes divider to use until puppy grows).  The puppies will be brought by one of our staff members to our veterinarian (Allandale Veterinary Clinic or another clinic of our choice) for vaccinations and routine care. We will pay for the puppy’s food until 8 weeks of age and the first round of vaccinations and deworming but the adopters of these puppies will pay for the puppy’s food and routine veterinarian care after the age of 8 weeks. The cost of the training package will be $2000.  The adopters of these puppies will not need to pay a training deposit but they will be required to pay the $50 spay/neuter deposit that will be returned with proof of spay or neuter before 6 months of age. Clients are welcome and encouraged to visit their puppies during training.
