The Teenage Terrors class is for dogs that won't listen if you don't have food in your hand or if you step outside your front door. They jump, they chew, they dog! They need boot camp and we're going to help you give it to them!
Teenage Terrors Level One includes the orientation session that you come to for one time only and you attend this class WITHOUT YOUR DOG. This class focuses on teaching you, the human, what you need to do to change your dog's behavior. The orientation meets on either Monday at 8:30 pm or Saturday at 12:00 pm and then you come for four weeks to Level One with your dog on either Tuesday at 7:30 pm or Saturday at 10:00 am. In these classes you will learn:
- calm focus and attention, duration sit, duration down
- calm focus and attention, leash walking, making the world work for you
- calm focus and attention, recall, beginner place
- calm focus and attention, drop it, touch, stay
After Level One, you can go on to Level Two to perfect your dog's skills and practice at a higher level of behavior. This will really round out the package for you and your dog and get you the control you need! Level Two meets at either Tuesday at 8:30 pm or Saturday at 11:00 am. Teenage Terrors is NOT appropriate for dogs that are reactive or aggressive or that have separation anxiety. If you think your dog might fall into one of these categories or if your dog barks, growls, lunges, or bites, call before registering for class!
