The Pet Nanny 911 program is an intensive, multi-day program designed to get you the help you need without doing a full board and train program. As with all of our behavior consultations, we begin by taking a complete history of your dog and the behavior problems that you are having.
First, we meet on a Saturday and we observe you and your dog to see the behavior problems that you are experiencing firsthand. We also see how your dog relates to you and the other members of your household. By the end of the day, we sit down and give you a complete assessment of the problems and put in place a management and training protocol to address the issues. You may be required to purchase materials at this time, including tools like harnesses and halters or dog crates. These materials will not be included in the price of your program.
Next, we come back on Sunday morning and begin implementing your training protocol. We will work with your family and your dog to implement the plan throughout the day Sunday. We will then let you work on the training protocol on Monday through Wednesday, checking in by phone at the end of each day. On Thursday, we will meet again to troubleshoot the training plan and ensure that you have all of the tools that you need to make lasting changes in your dog's behavior. We will also schedule a follow-up appointment two weeks after the end of your intensive training to make sure things are going as planned.
