Our Austin puppy training classes include socialization, bite inhibition,
basic manners, and handling. These are much more than just a play
group for puppies! Our puppy classes are highly recommended by many
area veterinarians. We sanitize our floors with Trifectant to kill dangerous
bacteria and viruses that young puppies are susceptible to, making our
classes some of the safest in town! Our puppy classes are taught by trainers who have experience raising puppies and teaching puppy owners how to raise happy, well-mannered puppies. You'll learn basic manners, get help in socializing your puppy and learn about bite inhibition, handling, housetraining, resource guarding, and more! You MUST have your veterinarian's permission to come to all puppy classes and no puppy who was in a shelter within 14 days of class or who has vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, or other possible signs of illness may attend class. Our classes are different - no waiting for start dates! Join anytime. We offer a rotating curriculum so you don't need to wait for a start date. You just come for six weeks and work your way through the lessons in the order that you came in. As new classmates are coming in, old ones are graduating. You meet and work with more puppy owners and a larger variety of puppies this way! Occasionally, we have too many people join in a given week and we need to push people off to the following week, but we will post here if that is the case. If you don't see a posting, you can join and start this week. When you register, you will get an information email telling you what to bring and how to get started. It's that simple!
Perfect Puppy One for puppies under 15 weeks of age: this FREE 45 minutes class meets on Mondays at 7:30 pm or on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and runs for 45 minutes. These include an introduction to puppy play, polite people greeting, bite inhibition, crate training, house training and more. You also have the chance to ask about any problems you are having at home like stealing things, chewing on furniture, barking, digging, and more! To attend this class, fill out our registration form and then have your veterinarian complete this form and you're all set!
Perfect Puppy Two for Puppies between ages 16 weeks and 22 weeks: this six week class costs $170 and teaches coming when called, calm focus and attention, walking on leash, go to a bed and stay there, lay down, drop it, and more. We work on puppy nipping, sitting to greet people, and preventing issues like resource guarding and reactive barking. Plenty of time for questions is built into each class because we know you have questions and we're here to answer them! To attend this class, fill out our registration form , complete payment either online or in person during your first class and then have your veterinarian complete this form and you're all set! You will receive an email that tells you what to bring to class. This class meets Mondays at 6:30 pm or Saturday at 9:00 am for 45 minutes. You may start this class at anytime and attend 6 weeks in a row plus a Focus the nose session! We will call you to schedule classes after you register.
