Dog Trainer Cathy Cobb with K9 Vegas

Cathy Cobb, JD, MBA

Cathy Cobb is the owner of Buddy’s Chance Dog Training.  Cathy has a broad range of experience, including pet dog training, behavior modification, competition obedience, scent games for pets, search and rescue, and working with pet dog rescue organizations. Cathy has taught hundreds of dogs and owners how to live happier, more harmonious lives together. She is also a FAR Beyond Licensed expert. Cathy lives with two pointers, Vegas and Memphis, and two bloodhounds, Duke and Boone in a very doggy happy household.

Dog Trainer Sarah Bond with K9 Percy

Sarah Bond, CPDT-KA

Sarah worked for over five years as lead trainer at a pet superstore, teaching classes and private lessons and helping to train new dog trainers. She trains service dogs full time at a nonprofit that focuses on mobility and hearing dogs. Sarah is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and a certified Canine Good Citizen test evaluator. She has experience with everything from basic behaviors to more complicated behavior issues, as well as tricks.

Cara Shannon, JD

Cara Shannon is the founder of Buddy’s Chance and a national dog bite and aggression expert who travels around the US teaching other dog trainers to work with aggression and reactivity. Cara is certified as a trainer by the CCPDT and as a behavior consultant by the IAABC and has been featured in Austin Womens Magazine. Cara is currently retired but consults on cases for Buddy’s Chance when needed. Cara and her husband and three children share their Austin home with two rescued dogs, Zeke and Rev.
